The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, has declared the Maha Kumbh area in Prayagraj a new district ahead of the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela. This move, aimed at better management of the event, was made on Sunday. Prime Minister Modi will visit on December 13 to review preparations. The event, scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025, will promote Indian culture and heritage.
