IIT Delhi Student Dies, Three Injured In Lothal Cave-In

A 23-year-old IIT Delhi PhD scholar, Surabhi Verma, died and three others were injured after soil collapsed on them at the Lothal archaeological site in Gujarat on Wednesday. The researchers, including two from IIT Delhi and two from IIT Gandhinagar, were collecting soil samples near the ancient Indus Valley site when the accident occurred. The site is about 80 km from Ahmedabad.
