Excise Police Arrest AP Employees’ Union Leader In Poll Bribery Scam

The AP Excise police arrested Venkatarami Reddy, the leader of the employees’ union, at midnight. It is alleged that Reddy and several others hosted drug and dinner parties to influence employees during the Secretariat canteen elections. These parties were held at Kondapavuluri Garden in Tadepalli, Guntur district. Acting on prior information, the Excise Police conducted a big raid.
