Punjab Bans Coldrif Cough Syrup After 14 Child Deaths In MP

Punjab has banned Coldrif cough syrup after it was linked to 14 child deaths in Madhya Pradesh. Tests found it substandard. Other states, including UP, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, have followed with bans or advisories. Two more syrups, ReLife and Respifresh TR, were also flagged for excessive toxic diethylene glycol levels.
