Around 20% of Mumbai’s hotels and restaurants have shut due to commercial LPG supply disruptions, AHAR said. The association warned up to 50% could close in two days if supplies don’t improve. Operations now depend on individual LPG stock, with many eateries limiting menus or reducing services amid the ongoing shortage. It is a huge loss to hotels.
