BJP’s Annamalai Fulfills Pledge By Flogging Himself, Surrenders To ‘Higher Power’

Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai flogged himself six times as part of his atonement for the state government’s inefficiency. Wearing a green mundu and shirtless, he performed the act in front of media and supporters. Annamalai later explained that it was a traditional Tamil practice and it is not against any person or not against anything.
