ED Raids In Bengal Over Irregularities In NRI Quota Medical Admissions

The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids across West Bengal on Tuesday, targeting locations linked to alleged irregularities in NRI quota medical admissions. The operations included searches at medical institutions and residences of officials in Kolkata and districts like Birbhum and Durgapur. ED also raided ex-CPI(M) leader Lakshman Seth’s residence and medical colleges run by his NGO.
