US serial killer Rex Heuermann has confessed to murdering eight women, mostly sex workers, in the notorious Gilgo Beach killings. Between 1993 and 2010, he lured victims with cash, strangled them in his basement, chopped some bodies, wrapped them in sacks, and dumped them along Long Island beaches. He now faces life imprisonment without parole.
