EU Trade Chief May Visit India Next Month

European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic is likely to visit India next month to review progress on the India-EU Free Trade Agreement with Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. The visit follows the 13th negotiation round starting Sept 8. Talks aim to meet this year’s deadline, resolving remaining issues that may need ministerial guidance or political decisions.
