Britain’s King Charles To Receive High Chief Title In Samoa

During a three-day visit starting Wednesday, Britain’s King Charles will be offered the title of high chief in Samoa. Lenatai Victor Tamapua, a Samoan chief and MP, plans to bestow the title “Tui Taumeasina” during a ceremonial welcome on Thursday. The King’s visit will also include a tour of a mangrove reserve to showcase climate change’s impact on Pacific communities.
