Nepali rescuers successfully retrieved the frozen bodies of five Russian climbers who perished earlier this month. The climbers went missing on October 6 while attempting to summit Dhaulagiri, the world’s seventh-highest mountain at 8,167 meters (26,795 feet). Bad weather had previously hindered recovery efforts, with the bodies located on an icy slope around 7,000 meters high.
