BJP’s Kirit Somaiya And Son Cleared In INS Vikrant Fund Misuse Case

Mumbai Police filed a closure report clearing BJP leader Kirit Somaiya and his son Neil in a case alleging misappropriation of funds raised for the warship INS Vikrant. Investigations found no evidence of wrongdoing related to the fundraising campaign ‘Vikrant Wachwa.’ A previous closure report was rejected by the court for insufficient investigation, but the revised report is pending acceptance.
