A man and his son were arrested for the murder of his 90-year-old mother and 62-year-old sister in Odisha’s Sambalpur district. The burnt bodies of Snehalata Dikshit and her daughter Sairendri were found in their house on Tuesday. Initially treated as unnatural deaths, the case was reclassified as murder after police interrogated family members, leading to the arrests of Jagannath and his son Sanket.
