A woman named Bhargavi Mani fell victim to a scam at Bengaluru Airport while trying to access a lounge. Misled by staff, she downloaded the “Lounge Pass” app and completed a facial scan, which turned out to be a ruse to steal her personal information. After losing over ₹87,000 through fraudulent transactions, she reported the incident to authorities.
