Supreme Court Instructs AIIMS To Perform Medical Examination For Ex-PFI Chief

Supreme Court instructed AIIMS to perform a medical examination of E. Abubacker. He is the former chairman of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). SC ordered the medical examination to determine if he is eligible for bail on medical grounds. The court said, “If he requires urgent medical intervention and we do not acknowledge it, we will also bear responsibility.”
