Bengaluru Traffic Police launched the Cobra Beat system to address micro-level traffic congestion issues. Cobras, first responders from each station, will patrol assigned routes during peak hours to resolve congestion. This initiative is part of BTP’s broader efforts, including bus stop relocation and signal synchronization, to improve city traffic flow.
