Meghalaya Delays GHADC Polls After Garo Hills Violence

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma announced the postponement of the April 10 GHADC elections following violence in Garo Hills that left two people dead. The clashes occurred during the nomination process in Chibinang. Authorities extended the curfew in West Garo Hills until March 13 and suspended mobile internet services.
