Brazil Caregiver Killed After Rejecting Co-Worker’s Kiss

In Brazil, 38-year-old caregiver Cintia Ribeiro Barbosa was murdered by co-worker Marcelo Junior Bastos Santos after rejecting his romantic advances. Santos strangled Barbosa after she slapped him for demanding a kiss. Her body was found the next day. Santos confessed to the crime, and security footage confirmed he acted alone. Barbosa, a newlywed mother, had worked with an elderly couple for six years.
