Lankan Navy Arrests 12 Tamil Fishermen For Crossing Maritime Border

Twelve Tamil fishermen were arrested by the Sri Lankan navy for crossing the international maritime border near Paruthithurai. Their boat was seized, and they were taken to the Kankesanthurai navy camp in Jaffna. This follows a similar incident on Sunday when 23 fishermen from Ramanathapuram were arrested. Both groups will be handed over to the Jaffna Fisheries Department for investigation.
