Delhi Police Increases Vehicle Checks to Enforce GRAP Stage IV Rules

Delhi Police intensified vehicle checks on Tuesday night to enforce GRAP Stage IV, banning BS-IV and older diesel-operated medium and heavy goods vehicles, except those in essential services, due to poor air quality. Meanwhile, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai urged the Union Environment Minister to convene an emergency meeting to implement cloud seeding as a measure to reduce pollution.
