KTR Slams Congress’ “Transformers Installation” Move, Terms It “Tughlaq Move”

BRS working president KTR condemned Congress for its decision to require apartment residents in Hyderabad to install transformers. He termed the policy as another “Tughlaq move.” He said that the cost of installing a transformer is around ₹3 lakh, translating to an additional ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per household. He estimated the total financial burden on Hyderabad residents at ₹300 crore.
