Atishi Explains Delhi’s ₹1,000 Scheme For Women: Registration In Week

Delhi CM Atishi announced that registration for the ₹1,000 Mahila Samman Yojana will begin within a week. She said funds would be distributed after the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) is enforced, with the first tranche expected post-election. Around 40 lakh women will benefit, excluding taxpayers, elected officials, and pensioners. The scheme’s Samman Rashi will be increased to ₹2,100.
