Govt Invests ₹1,010 Crore For Development Of Brahmaputra, Barak Rivers

Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, informed Parliament that the Govt of India is investing ₹1,010 crores for the comprehensive development of the Brahmaputra and Barak rivers in Assam. Project aims to improve river infrastructure, enhance navigation, and promote economic growth, benefiting the region by boosting transportation and local livelihoods in Assam.
