Centre announced staggered working hours for its employees in Delhi due to severe air pollution, according to a Union personnel ministry order. Employees were advised to pool vehicles and use public transport to reduce vehicular pollution. Ministries and departments were instructed to adopt these measures without affecting productivity, especially for offices in the Delhi-National Capital Region.
