Suspended Bank of India officer Hitesh Singla stole ₹16.1 crore from inactive customer accounts, targeting seniors and minors. Instead of saving it, he gambled nearly all of it in stock market bets, crypto, and online games. Caught on a train, he now faces CBI and ED probes, with little money left to recover.
