India has signed a ₹13,500 crore deal with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for 12 indigenous Su-30MKI jets, boosting the Indian Air Force’s capabilities. Produced with 62.6% indigenous content under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, these jets are part of a broader plan to upgrade 84 Su-30MKIs with advanced technology under the “Super Sukhoi” project.
