Mandi Police Officers Arrested For Taking Bribe, Sent To 3-Day Remand

In Mandi, a sub-inspector and an assistant sub-inspector were arrested for taking a Rs 15,000 bribe to settle a dispute. The vigilance team caught them red-handed at police station after a complaint from Virendra Kumar. The officers were presented in court and sent on a 3-day remand. Their bank accounts will also be investigated. Interestingly, the SHO had recently praised another officer for honesty.
