India Ranks Second In Global Cyberattack: Report

India recorded 5.2 billion encrypted cyberattacks, ranking second globally, according to the Zscaler ThreatLabz 2024 report. The U.S. topped the list with 11 billion attacks. Malware dominated encrypted threats, especially in manufacturing, which saw a 171% rise in incidents. Attacks increasingly use encryption and advanced techniques like AI to evade detection. Cryptomining and phishing also surged.
