Supreme Court Stays Madras HC Order In DA Case

In a relief to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, the Supreme Court on Friday stayed the Madras High Court’s order that had restored a disproportionate assets (DA) case against him and his family members. A bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and S V N Bhatti issued a notice to Tamil Nadu police and others in response to Panneerselvam’s plea challenging the decision.
