Kerala Police Use Water Canons On People Protesting Against WAQF Board Land Claims

Kerala police used water cannons against BJP workers who were on a protest march towards Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram. They were demanding swift action against land claims made by Waqf Board in many places across the state. The protest march took place a day after Indian Union Muslim League leaders met with Christian priests to find a permanent resolution to Waqf-related land disputes.
