The Andhra Pradesh High Court has admitted a PIL alleging financial irregularities in the blockbuster film ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, questioning its budget and earnings. The petitioner sought an investigation by Income Tax Department, Enforcement Directorate, and GST authorities. They also requested that additional revenue from extra screenings be deposited into the government treasury.
