Ayodhya Administration Imposes Ban On Meat Sales During Navratri

The Ayodhya administration has mandated the closure of all poultry and meat shops during the 9-day Navratri festival, starting Oct 3. An order from the Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety and Drug Administration, stated that all meat shops must remain closed from Oct 3–11. The public is urged to report any violations to food safety department, with strict penalties for non-compliance.
