Ashok Leyland Wins Contract For 500 Electric Buses From Chennai MTC

Ashok Leyland on Thursday announced that its electric mobility division, OHM Global Mobility, secured an order for 500 ultra-low floor electric buses from Chennai’s Metropolitan Transport Corporation. Switch Mobility will provide EiV12 model buses, which OHM will operate and maintain for 12 years. This follows Ashok Leyland’s recent delivery of electric trucks to Billion Electric Mobility.
