AP & Karnataka Sign Agreement For Transfer Of 8 Kumki Elephants

The AP govt has signed a key agreement with the Karnataka govt regarding the ‘Kumki’ elephant issue. AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, who oversees the Forest Ministry, and Karnataka Forest Minister Ishwar Khandre finalized the agreement. Officials from the forest departments of both states were present at the meeting. The Karnataka govt will provide 8 Kumki elephants to Andhra Pradesh.
