In response to heavy rains, the Andhra Pradesh govt has released flood relief funds, allocating ₹1 crore each to the districts of Prakasam, Chittoor, Tirupati, Nellore, Annamayya, and YSR. These funds are designated for emergency relief efforts, including relief camps, water, food, health services, and sanitation. The APSRTC has advised hiring buses as needed to evacuate flood victims.
