The AP govt has made a key decision to cancel the scenery fee under the free sand policy. An official order has been issued following a cabinet meeting held on Oct 21. All measures have been implemented to waive the scenery fee, along with other fees related to sand and the District Mineral Foundation. Sand can be obtained for construction purposes without the need to pay the scenery fee.
