AP CM Chandrababu has directed officials to impose a fine of Rs 5 lakh on liquor shops that sell products above the MRP for the first offense. If violations continue, their licenses should be revoked immediately. The authorities were instructed to prohibit belt shops under any circumstances. Additionally, strict measures should be taken against illicit liquor coming from other states.
