Airbus aims to increase its direct workforce in India to over 5,000 within the next few years, alongside sourcing $2 billion in services and components from the country. Currently employing 3,500, the company will also establish a second pilot training center and a 5,000-seat campus in Bengaluru. Committed to “Make-in-India,” Airbus is enhancing local collaborations, including defense projects.
