Over 5 Lakh Seniors Enrolled For Ayushman Vaya Vandana

Over five lakh senior citizens aged 70 and above have been enrolled for Ayushman cards since the expansion of the AB-PMJAY health assurance scheme. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi two weeks ago, the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card provides free health coverage for seniors, with a separate ₹5 lakh annual cover in addition to the existing AB PM-JAY scheme.
