Hyundai Motor India appointed Tarun Garg as Managing Director and CEO, becoming its first Indian head since 1996. Garg, with 32 years’ automotive experience, took charge on January 1, 2026. Former COO, he led record sales and the 2024 IPO. His focus includes EVs, network strengthening, customer service, and expanded manufacturing under Make in India.
