4 crore Travellers Used Vande Bharat trains In FY26

Vande Bharat Express carried about 4 crore passengers in FY 2025–26, showing 34% growth from last year, according to the Railways Ministry. Since 2019, it has served over 9.1 crore passengers. Popular routes include Delhi–Varanasi, Katra, Visakhapatnam, and Chennai–Mysuru. The new sleeper version also saw strong demand with high occupancy.
