First Stampede Death Occurred Before RCB Celebrations

The first death in the stampede at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium occurred at 3:45 pm, just before the official IPL victory celebrations for RCB began at the Vidhana Soudha, according to a report. The report states that 10 additional deaths were recorded between 4:15 pm and 5:15 pm across hospitals while the public felicitation was still underway.
