The US Supreme Court has approved the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, linked to the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. A Canadian citizen of Pakistani descent, Rana is accused of aiding terrorist David Headley in supporting Lashkar-e-Taiba. Despite his acquittal in a Chicago federal court, Rana’s appeal against extradition to India was dismissed, paving the way for his transfer to face trial there.
