IMD Forecasts Rainfall In AP As Low Pressure Forms Over Bay Of Bengal

The IMD has reported that a surface circulation is persisting over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and is expected to intensify into a low-pressure area within the next 36 hours. The system is likely to move towards the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka over the next two days. As a result, moderate to light rains are forecast in parts of Rayalaseema and Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh.
