EC To Reveal 1st Phase Of Pan-India Voter Roll SIR Today

The Election Commission will hold a press conference today at 4:15 PM to announce the schedule for the Pan-India Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The first phase will cover 10-15 states, prioritizing those with 2026 Assembly polls, including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry, while ongoing local elections are deferred.
