Ahead of it, “Drishyam 2” was re-released in theatres but failed badly, collecting just ₹3.5 lakhs in Kerala. Trade experts called the move unnecessary after its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video. Despite this, “Drishyam 3” is expected to open strong.
