Student Jailed for Using Fake SC Certificate To Secure Medical College Admission

A student in Uttar Pradesh was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined Rs 11,000 for using a forged Scheduled Caste certificate to gain admission to Motilal Nehru Medical College in 2018. Amit Kumar Bind, who initially enrolled with an OBC certificate, was caught after a complaint led to an investigation, resulting in the revocation of his admission and legal action.
