A Chinese man, Mr. Zhang, has won a lawsuit against his former employer after being fired for taking a one-hour nap at work following a late shift. The Taixing People’s Court awarded him 350,000 yuan (approximately Rs 41.6 lakh), ruling that his dismissal for sleeping on the job was excessive given his two decades of service and that it did not cause significant harm to the company.
