Debate Intensifies Over Vizag Steel Plant Privatization: AP Legislative Council

A heated discussion is underway in the AP Legislative Council on the Vizag Steel Plant issue. YSRCP MLCs have demanded that measures be taken to prevent its privatization. YSRCP MLC Varudu Kalyani alleged that the merger with SAIL and the non-payment of salaries are steps toward privatization. In response, Industries Minister TG Bharat said that there is no intention to privatize the plant.
