KSRTC Workers To Strike On Dec 31 Over Unpaid Dues & Salary Hike

The KSRTC Staff and Workers’ Federation, along with other unions, has called for a statewide strike on December 31, demanding the Karnataka govt settle unpaid arrears and gratuity payments. The government owes ₹1,750 crores from a 2020 salary hike and ₹399.29 crore in gratuity. Despite promises of a salary increase in January 2024, no official decision has been made.
